Nieformalna Grupa Twórcza "Metamorfozy" z powodzeniem realizuje pod patronatem Stowarzyszenia Dzieciom Będzina projekt programu MŁODZIEŻ.

Stowarzyszenie jest organizacją wspierającą projektu zatytułowanego: “TEATRALNE FORMY TWÓRCZE MŁODYCH – ZRANIONY PASTERZ” a finansowanego w kwocie prawie 5 tys. euro z funduszów Unii Europejskiej, z programu Akcji Inicjatyw Młodzieżowych, Programu Komisji Europejskiej MŁODZIEŻ.

Polega on na przygotowaniu przedstawienia teatralnego na podstawie książki “Zraniony Pasterz” Daniel’a Ange.

Kolejne etapy projektu obejmowały m.in.: letnie warsztaty teatralne dla dzieci (4-8 września) i młodzieży (31 sierpnia – 8 września) oraz wieńczący je happening (15 września), casting (10 września) i próby do musicalu, przygotowanie kostiumów, scenografii, muzyki oraz choreografii, budowa strony internetowej(www.metamorfozy.bedzin.eu), wycieczka do Krakowa dla uczestników warsztatów (17 września) – zwiedzanie miasta oraz uczestnictwo w spektaklu teatralnym. Premiera musicalu przewidziana jest na 17 grudnia i odbedzie sie w Teatrze Dzieci Zagłębia im. J. Dormana.

17 września członkowie grupy METAMORFOZY, wraz z wolontariuszami Stowarzyszenia Dzieciom Będzina zabrali 40 osobową grupę będzińskich dzieci do Krakowa. Był to finał spotkania z teatrem. Dzieci zwiedzały Teatr Groteska, gdzie mogły także uczestniczyć w spektaklu pt. „Lato Muminków czyli wielki teatr”. Po obiedzie wszyscy razem zwiedzali Wawel oraz przeszli przez smoczą jamę, gdzie witał młodych przybyszów z Będzina ziejący ogniem Smok Wawelski.
